Shipping policy

We ship from our store at 880 Island Highway in Campbell River, on Vancouver Island. We ship within Canada only.

Rates and delivery

Standard shipping is $20.00 and takes 2 to 5 business days in BC and Alberta; longer further east and to the North.

Standard shipping is free on orders over $249.

Standard delivery times count from the day your order leaves the store.

You will see the exact cost at checkout before you pay.

When your order leaves

Items in stock at our Campbell River store leave the shop inside two business days. See Firearms and ammunition below.

Items not in stock there are ordered in for you. Their product page shows "This product will ship by" a date, and we aim to ship them by the date it showed when you ordered.

Orders placed on weekends and statutory holidays are processed the next business day.

Counter-tariff surcharge

A few U.S.-made items we order in for you carry a counter-tariff surcharge, shown as its own line in your cart. Items on our shelves do not. The surcharge is not shipped and adds nothing to shipping. See our Terms of service.

In-store pickup

You can order online and collect at the store. Choose pickup at checkout and we will email you when the order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation. We hold pickup orders for 7 days.

Pickup only

Some items cannot be shipped. At checkout they can only be picked up. They are bear spray, marine flares, camp fuels and fire paste, lead fishing weights of every kind (downrigger cannonballs and fin weights, lead balls, sinkers, mooching, slip and cigar weights, pencil lead and trap line weights), Calcutta Renegade coolers, and prawn bait (the case and the 14 lb pack). An order that includes one of these items can only be picked up. To have the rest of your order shipped, remove the item and order it separately. Lures and jigs ship as usual.

Bear spray: you must be 18 or over and sign a release form when you collect it.

Ammunition is not shipped either. See Firearms and ammunition below.

Oversize items

Long rods, downriggers and two crab traps (the Bron's CT032 and the Danielson Deluxe Folding) cost more to ship. They ship at an oversize rate of $39.00 and are not included in free shipping. If you would rather collect them, choose pickup.

Firearms and ammunition

To buy a firearm, or a magazine marked "Firearms licence required", use "Request to buy" on its product page. Nothing is charged when you send the request. We'll verify your firearms licence, ask for photo ID, confirm the item, and send Interac e-Transfer details. Nothing is shipped or released before your licence is verified. Once payment has cleared we'll arrange shipping, or you're welcome to collect in store. Firearms and licence magazines ship at our Standard rates, so shipping is free on orders over $249.

Ammunition is not shipped. Reserve it with "Reserve in store" on its product page. We'll confirm the item is here and hold it. Bring your firearms licence when you collect and pay at the counter. Nothing is charged online.

Order problems

If your order has not arrived when you expected it, or has arrived damaged, contact orders@tyeemarine.ca or call 250-287-2641 and we will sort it out. For damage, please also see "Damaged in transit" in our Refund Policy.
