Hornady Precision Hunter in 300 Winchester Magnum, loaded with the 200 grain ELD-X bullet. Hornady says the bullet's Heat Shield tip resists the heat of flight and keeps its shape, so the ballistic coefficient holds across the trajectory. The maker describes the propellants as clean burning and consistent from shot to shot across temperatures.
