The Hawker Series Trolling Spoons are the last herring-roll spoons you’ll ever need. Unlike fixed-action spoons, our custom-shaped stainless body lets you tune the roll by hand to match your speed, water, and target species. Built from 0.018-gauge stainless steel, the spoon is ready to fish out of the box or can be bent in seconds to create your preferred herring-roll action. Each Hawker is double-sided and hand-taped, pre-rigged with a swivel, two split rings, and a Spitfire® sickle hook (Size 8–3/0, matched to spoon size). The face features custom fish-scale sticker tape with Glow-in-the-Dark and UV for visibility; the back is finished with a full Moon Jelly tape for added flash. Everything is sealed under an industry-leading UV clear coat for durability. Action options: Fully Straight produces a slow side-to-side wobble; a Bent Nose delivers a slow roll with subtle wobble; a Bent Nose with a slightly rounded body creates a quicker roll and more thump. Speed guide: best trolled from about 1.5 MPH upward—the maximum speed is limited only by how you shape the spoon (if it spins, flatten slightly and retest). Size guide: 2″ for compact bait profiles, clear water, and higher speeds (trout, kokanee, coho); 3″ as the all-around workhorse for lakes and coastal runs (coho, pinks, rainbows); 4″ for larger bait profiles, deeper trolls, and chinook or anytime fish are on bigger feed.
