The SXP Marine Defender is the weather-resistant model in Winchester's Super X Pump line. The 18-inch barrel, magazine tube and slide arms are finished in matte hard chrome, and the chamber and bore are chrome-plated as well - protection suited to a gun kept on a boat, at a cabin or in camp. The stock is black synthetic with textured grip panels and a ribbed forearm.
A removable TRUGLO fibre-optic sight sits with the brass bead up front, the alloy receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and the Invector-Plus barrel comes with a cylinder choke tube for slugs or buckshot.
