The Browning X-Bolt 2 All Purpose is a compact, ranch-style bolt-action rifle. Its short heavy-sporter barrel runs 16-1/2" to 20" depending on calibre and has a 5/8"-24 threaded muzzle with a thread protector; the barrelled action is matte blued. The OD Green Vari-Tech composite stock adjusts for length of pull and comb height and takes interchangeable grip modules. It feeds from Browning's Plus Magazine, a single-stack detachable magazine that holds five or six rounds depending on the cartridge and releases with a side-mounted button.
