The Scotty 166 is the base of the 1.5 inch ball mounting system: a 1.5 inch ball on a 2 1/4 inch square fixed base, in UV-resistant engineering-grade nylon with stainless steel hardware. Scotty sizes this system for 7 to 9 inch fish finders. It is drilled for 1/4 inch fasteners, which are sold separately.
