The Xpert Sporter is Winchester's bolt-action rimfire rifle in a satin-finished wood stock with cut checkering. Its steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and the rifle also carries a fully adjustable rear sight and a ramped post front sight.
The 18-inch barrel is button-rifled, with a target crown and a Bentz-style chamber, and the three-lever Rimfire M.O.A. trigger is adjustable. The extended bolt handle gives extra leverage, and the magazine release can be worked from either side. It feeds from a 10-round rotary magazine.
