The SXP Trench puts Winchester's Super X Pump action in the classic style of the pump guns once carried by police and military: a satin-finished hardwood stock, a grooved corn-cob forearm and a heat shield over the 18-inch barrel. The metal has a non-glare matte black finish.
The barrel has a fixed cylinder choke and a hard chrome-plated chamber and bore, and suits buckshot or Foster-type slugs. The alloy receiver is drilled and tapped for an optics base, and a brass bead serves as the front sight.
